Supplemental Educational Services
Overview
Bright Futures Learning is an approved provider of Supplemental Educational Services (SES) under the federal No Child Left
Behind legislation. This is a FREE after-school tutoring/instructional program that is available to eligible students of
Title One public schools that did not meet Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for three or more consecutive years. In this
setting, we provide explicit, highly structured, small group instruction to identified students from low socioeconomic
backgrounds, based on free/reduced lunch status. Our research-based programs, designed especially for the Supplemental Educational
Services opportunities, yields significant gains for children in reading, writing, and math.
Our FREE after-school tutoring program provides . . .
- Small group instruction in researched-based Reading curriculum
- Small group instruction in research-based Math curriculum
- Bright Futures Learning research-based Sensory Academics™
- Focus2Learn™ activities, a movement-based classroom program that improves your child’s attention
span, focus, retention, and processing speed.
- An Individual Learning Plan (ILP) for each student based on pretest scores
- An Academic Session Record (progress report) to parents after each session
- Trained, certified and highly-qualified instructors
- Has an Online Management System (OMS) which allows parents and school administrators to monitor attendance and
pre/posttest scores 24 hours a day
Does your child qualify for our FREE after-school tutoring program?
The Bright Futures Learning FREE after-school tutoring program (Supplemental Educational Services) is available in several
school districts and states throughout the U.S. There is no charge for these services to the parent. Your child may qualify
if he or she (1)attends an eligible public school and (2) receives free/reduced lunch.
